The Rock Record started as my way of sharing something I've realized after years as a geologist: everywhere you go, there's an incredible story happening right beneath your feet.
Whether you're hiking to a waterfall, exploring a new city, or planning your next adventure, the landscape around you holds millions of years of Earth's history just waiting to be discovered.
Mission & Vision
My mission is simple – I want to help you see the world like a geologist sees it. Not in a textbook-heavy, intimidating way, but in a "holy cow, I had no idea this place was so incredible" kind of way.
I travel to places both famous and hidden, from Montana's sapphire treasures to Hawaii's volcanic beaches, uncovering the geological stories that make each destination truly unique.
Think of me as your adventure-loving friend who happens to be really excited about rocks and loves sharing those "aha!" moments when a landscape suddenly makes perfect sense.
